Information we collect

We may collect your name, email address, phone number, delivery address, governorate, language preference, order contents, selected delivery time and communications with us.

Payment card details are handled by MyFatoorah and are not stored by Foodist. We retain payment references and payment status so we can fulfil and support your order.

How we use information

We use your information to create and deliver orders, process payments, send confirmations and service updates, provide customer support, prevent fraud, maintain business records and improve the website.

We may use privacy-friendly website analytics to understand page visits and website performance. We do not sell personal information.

Service providers

Information is processed only where necessary by trusted providers supporting the store, including Supabase for database and authentication services, Vercel for website hosting and analytics, Resend for transactional email, and MyFatoorah for payment processing.

Each provider processes information under its own security and privacy obligations.

Retention and security

We retain order and customer records for as long as reasonably required to fulfil orders, provide support, meet legal or accounting obligations, resolve disputes and prevent abuse.

We use restricted administrator access, encrypted connections and managed infrastructure. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect customer data.

Your choices and rights

You may ask to access, correct or delete personal information, subject to any records Foodist must retain by law or for legitimate business purposes. You may also request that we stop non-essential communications.
